CNC Counsel provides FIDIC Contracts Training Course at Coteccons – Unicons
Following the success of the Training on FIDIC Contracts at Coteccons on May, 2024, CNC is once again honored to be entrusted by Unicons Investment Construction Co., Ltd – a core member of the Coteccons Group, with the hosting of FIDIC Contracts Training Course on 15 and 16 Nobember, 2024. This is proof for the strong cooperation and long-term commitment between CNC and prominent figures in the field of construction.
This training course is an collaboration between Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company and Unicons Investment Construction Co., Ltd, with the participation of more than 30 officers from important departments such as Finance, Accounting, Tender, Contract, Cost Management and Construction (CCM), along with staffs in vital ongoing projects that are undertaken by the two companies. The main purpose of this training course is to enhance FIDIC Contract management capability, thus helping the staffs from different departments to make better application of the standards and regulations of FIDIC Contracts in the implementation and management of projects.
The content of the training course consists of fundamental issues, which would allow the participants to not only consolidate their knowledge but also develop their practical skills. The main topics of the training course include:
- Appropriate Conditions of Contract for each specific type of projects and package
- Structure of FIDIC Contracts
- Practical tips for the drafting, constructing and application of FIDIC Contracts
- Negotiation of major issues in 1999 and 2017 FIDIC Contracts
- Analysis of fundamenta differences between FIDIC Contract 1999 and FIDIC Contract 2017
- Awareness of the compability between FIDIC Contracts and the laws of Vietnam in practical application
To further improve the quality of the training, ensuring that participants of the Training Course fully comprehend and be able to put different publications of FIDIC Contracts into use, CNC has incorporated all of the content, whether its learning materials or practice materials, throughout the training course in a balanced manner. Among which, hyphothetical scenarios are brought forward so that participants could practice and hone their skills, thus allowing them to, even after the training course, be more familiar and confident with the materials and means available in FIDIC Contracts.
