The number of intern positions: 3 – 5 interns who recently graduated law school or awaiting degree for an unpaid internship.
This internship requires at least 30 hours per week, preferably more, for a commitment of at least three months.
responsibilities
- The main responsibilities of this legal intern position are to
research and draft insightful materials for the interest of existing and potential clients
assist associates to draft, edit, review, and deliver commercial contracts
research, analysis and write legal memos related to a variety of legal issues, including, but not limited to, government contracts, corporate governance, disputes and litigation
support associates in special deals (urgent or complicated deals)
help to perform administrative tasks required for business operations
other matters requiring support in the operation of a law firm as they arise
requirements
In order to qualify this position, you must demonstrate that you have
strong grammar and spelling ability
ability to review and draft contracts
attention to details
willingness and ability to learn quickly and to multi-task
great communication, and
solid typing and writing skills
