CNC Counsel – Review of 2024 – a Monumental Year
As 2024 ends, CNC takes this opportunity to reflect on a remarkable year filled with memorable experiences while looking forward to 2025 with great anticipation.
The year 2024 was not only a period during which CNC upheld our core values but also a time of significant growth. We further solidified our leading position in the fields of construction law, infrastructure, real estate, and energy, and paved the way for collaborations with both domestic and international organizations.
2024 marks the beginning of major events for CNC in cooperation with the Society of Construction Law – Vietnam (SCLVN), the International Law Faculty of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, and the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC) to successfully host the Ho Chi Minh City International Construction Arbitration Conference under the theme of “Construction Contracts and International Arbitration – When Legal Traditions Collide” (HICAC2024)
In fact, HICAC 2024 in particular, and HICAC in general, are annual and remarkable events that are trademarks of SCLVN and CNC in Construction, Real Estate, and Dispute Resolution fields
In this event, Mr. Le The Hung-Managing Partner-CNC participated in Panel C1 on the topic of “Practical tips for Tribunals on using Tribunal-Appointed Experts in Civil Law Jurisdictions”

Aside from HICAC 2024, CNC also provided support in a great endeavor to hold CCDR2024 in Hanoi for the very first time. Besides the main event, within the context of CCDR2024, CNC also cooperated with FTI Consulting, Three Crowns, and CMS to host the conference under the theme of “Practice Tips for Successful Project Cost Claims” at Legend Westlake Hotel (Hanoi) on October 9, 2024.
The Conference on Practice Tips for Successful Project Cost Claims garnered the attention of both domestic and foreign speakers.
Additionally, in 2024, CNC successfully hosted two workshops in Ho Chi Minh City on the topics of “Claims under FIDIC Contracts – What Should FIDIC Users Take Note of?” and “The Art of EOT Claims and Evidence Preparation”.

CNC’s relentless effort has demonstrated CNC’s commitment to supporting parties in efficient contract management – minimizing the possibility of disputes and disagreements via harmonization of parties’ interests and sharing of risks within the context of tumultuous economic situations.
Furthermore, with the philosophy of sustainable development, community interest prioritization, and incentives for the young and talented generation, CNC is honored to sponsor and participate in academic competitions as part of the judges for the 2024 Law Conquerors Competition held by the Law Faculty of UEF or the 2024 National VMoot – Mock Trial Competition.
