CNC Counsel and Conquerors of Law Competition 2024

Conquerors of Law Competition 2024 has garnered the attention of a myriad of law students from all over the country. From 46 teams in the preliminary, the Host committee has selected the Top 12 to participate in the Final and Ranked Final. In addition to their knowledge of legal issues, the 36 students from 9 universities have demonstrated their composure and confidence before various practical legal scenarios. In this competition, Mr. Huynh Thanh Tam and Mr. Tran Pham Hoang Tung represented CNC Counsel to accompany the Law’s Conquerors 2024 competition throughout its course as the golden sponsor.

The 4^th Law’s Conquerors Competition – 2024 successfully concluded

As one of the competition’s examiners, Mr. Vo Dan Mach commented “For this year’s competition, the host committee had made many preparations and ensured the widespread influence of this competition, which is evidenced by the participation of 20 universities/colleges from all over the country. Throughout the rounds, the teams showed their resolve from the preliminaries to the final, I think that the level of expertise and confidentiality shown has demonstrated the quality of this year’s competition. This alone indicates the dedication and professionalism of involved parties”

Moreover, among the examiners, there are Mr. Trinh Duc Duy – the Vice Chair of the Reward and Disciplinary Council Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association, Managing Partner of Viet Sun Law Firm, Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi – Deputy Director of Khanh An Phat Law Firm Co. Ltd, Mr. Ho Vinh Long, Head of the Legal Department of HSBC Bank; Mr. Tran Pham Hoang Tung – Senior Associate of CNC Vietnam Law Firm.

Examiners provide contestants with commentary, evaluation, and guidance on problem-solving, analytical, and debate skills

Contestants impressed the examiners with their debates and successfully “scored points” through their performances.

On the performance of the student, Mr. Ha Hai commented: “This year, the test is focused on the practical side, thereby allowing the “learning go hand-in-hand with practice” method to shine. The contestants of this year’s competition have a solid grasp of the fundamental legal knowledge and great flexibility, able to provide prompt responses to hypothetical scenarios. This is an important trait for lawyers, as well as the value of this competition.”

After many intense and captivating rounds of exchange, the final results are as follows:

First Place: Team Totoro (Saigon University)

Second Place: Team Bate (Ha Noi University of Law)

Third Place: Team Ho Chi Minh City University of Bank

Fourth Place: Team Lawy Fantasy (Hoa Sen University)

Additionally, 8 Consolation prizes were awarded, along with special awards for the most favored team, the most memorable team, and the most valuable contestant.

Conquerors of Law Competition 2024 is a competition hosted by the collaboration of the Law Faculty of UEF, TAPHA Group, Integrity Law Club, and sponsorship from partners. The competition is not only an opportunity for contestants to review and improve their knowledge but also a place for them to put their knowledge into practice. This is also a place for the contestants to learn, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights from lawyers and industry experts.
