Tung Tran is a Partner at CNC Vietnam Law Firm with many years of legal practice in the fields of construction, real estate, and international arbitration.
Prior to joining CNC, he served as in-house counsel for leading investors and construction contractors in Vietnam. He has extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing FIDIC contracts, as well as providing legal advice for large-scale construction projects, including major infrastructure developments in Vietnam such as airport, metro, and expressway projects. Together with CNC’s dispute resolution team, Tung has been involved in numerous high-value and complex international arbitration cases under VIAC, SIAC, and ICC rules.
He is the co-author of the chapter “Application of FIDIC in Vietnam” published in the Construction Law International journal of the International Bar Association (IBA), and a regular contributor to leading domestic and international journals on construction law.
Tung Tran is an active member of the Society of Construction Law Vietnam (SCLVN). He also participates in leading regional and international young arbitration associations, including Young SIAC, Young ICCA, and YIAG of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
In addition to construction and real estate, he also advises on matters relating to international trade of goods, renewable energy, hotel management contracts, and project finance transactions.
