On April 9 and 10, 2026, the Ho Chi Minh City International Construction Arbitration Conference 2026 (HICAC 2026) officially returned, centered on the theme: “Opportunities and Challenges in Construction Dispute Resolution: National and Global Perspectives”.
In addition to the plenary Panels held on April 9 and the morning of April 10, HICAC 2026 facilitated extensive networking and interaction between speakers and delegates through a series of vibrant side events scheduled from April 8 to April 12, 2026.
Jointly organized by the Society of Construction Law – Viet Nam (SCLVN) and the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), this year’s Conference continued to serve as a premier specialized as well as open forum, bringing together leading experts, lawyers, arbitrators, and academics from across the region. Notably, the scale of the event witnessed significant growth compared to HICAC 2025, with the number of keynote speakers increasing from 37 to 47. This expansion underscores the rising prominence of international legal forums hosted in Vietnam and the overall growth of the Vietnamese construction market.

HICAC 2026 provided a vital platform for all stakeholders in construction law, from enterprises and legal practitioners to construction industry professionals, to discuss current standards and updates on the latest trends and practices. These discussions aimed to identify innovative solutions to enhance the quality of dispute resolution in response to the evolving challenges of the industry.
Having proudly supported the Conference since its inaugural edition in 2023, CNC Counsel was honored to mark its fourth year of contribution as a Silver Sponsor, specifically sponsoring the Welcome Dinner for Speakers.
