Mr. Pham Van Anh has over 10 years of legal consulting experience and is a professional lawyer in Vietnam.
Before co-founding AP Legal with other partners, Mr. Pham Van Anh worked at DC Lawyer Law Firm and Korean and Japanese companies located in the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park. He then spent nearly 10 years as in-house counsel for Hoa Binh Construction Group – one of the largest and most reputable private construction companies in Vietnam. During this time, Mr. Pham Van Anh served as the company’s lead legal counsel, overseeing all legal matters for the parent company and nearly 20 subsidiaries within the group. He played a key role in negotiating construction contracts, particularly those involving State budgets, project funding, or government-related elements or requiring contractor selection procedures under the Law on Bidding. He led legal due diligence activities for capital mobilization, investment decisions in projects and M&A with subsidiaries or affiliated companies, and advised the parent company and its subsidiaries on capital raising from strategic investors. He was also responsible for representing the company in litigation and arbitration proceedings as a representative or legal counsel.
In addition, Mr. Pham Van Anh is frequently invited to collaborate with other professional law firms to assist with legal services in the field of construction and dispute resolution arising from clients’ construction contract performance. He also regularly provides legal services to clients, primarily in the real estate sector, including legal consulting on Corporate Governance, Project Investment and Development, and Contract.
