CNC Counsel accompanies the National VMoot – Mock Trial Competition 2024
The Vmoot- Mock Trial Competition is an important annual academic event to many students majoring in Laws, held by the HCMC University of Law
Following the success of previous competitions, the VIII VMoot Competition continues to provide students with opportunities to improve their argumentation skills and apply their legal knowledge to hypothetical scenarios. After the Schoolwide VMoot 2024 Competition, CNC continues to accompanies the National VMoot 2024 Competition as one of the important figure in the Quarter Final, which took places on 23/11/2024 at the Nguyen Tat Thanh facility of HCMC University of Law. Specifically, the representative of CNC Counsel, Ms. Tran Thi Ngan – Partner, participated as a member of Arbitral Tribunal for the Mock Trial.

On 23/11/2024, the Quarter Final of VMoot 2024 took place at the Nguyen Tat Thanh facility of HCMC University of laws, with the participation of 12 teams who have fantastically passed previous rounds and demonstrated their sharp argumentation skills, in-depth legal knowledge and flexible responses to the challenges given by the Arbitral Tribunal

The representative of CNC Counsel, Ms. Tran Thi Ngan, member of the Arbitral Tribunal, has made significant contribution to the Quarter Final. With vast practical experience, Ms. Ngan not only raise rebuttal questions but also delivered detailed evaluation, allowing contestants to better understand the proceedings and legal issues revolving around construction contracts – a complex and challenging issue.

The Quarter Final bore witness to an intense and dramatic atmosphere as contesting teams acted as either the Claimant or the Defendant, defending their arguments by utilizing legal knowledge, precedents and facts. At the end of the round, the Top 4 most excellent team was revealed, including:

- Team CT CYPHER
- Team THE SUN
- Team TSUNAMI
The Final of the National VMoot – Mock Trial Competition 2024
The Final took place on the morning of 25/11/2024 at Hall A.1002 of HCMC University of Law, the two most excellent team, namely TSUNAMI (HCMC University of Law) and CT CYPHER (University of Can Tho), engaged in intense debate, each team demonstrated their sound arguments, sharp wits and sense of professionalism
With their outstanding confidence and abilities, team TSUNAMI emerged as the Champion, while team CT CYPHER earn their place as the Runner-up with their impressive arguments.

The presence of CNC Counsel in the National Mock Trial Competition 2024 not only demonstrated our role as an professional partner but also affirmed our undertakings in supporting the younger generation of the law community. In this competition, CNC Counsel has contributed to the practical aspect, thus helping students to better understand the work environment and practice in the legal field
and allowing them the opportunities to exchange with experts and learn of legal practice.
The VMoot 2024 Schoolwide Mock Trial Competition concluded successfully, leaving the contesting team with important knowledge and abilities. CNC Counsel hopes that the experience of the competition would help students becoming better equipped for their future career path in the legal field.
